It's the name I invented to describe my process of painting on canvas, photographing it, uploading it to my paint program to complete the composition, and finally enhancing it in a super cool app.
I get a kick out of the discovery process and it's so cool to create different versions of the same composition. Here are a few examples:
These were paintings that I was finding it difficult to finish. I wanted something more dynamic and beyond what I know how to do with a brush and paint.
Then, in the pictures below, you can see where I experimented with a doodle. That was a morning's delight!
